Hi Friends! If there is one thing this quarantine has made me do more of its clean + create. My kids have been doing ALOT of creating and it gives me the space to create along side of them too.
We are working on a Art Gallery wall in the boys’ shared room that I will be sharing very soon but I wanted to share this simple DIY “i love you” piece that we made for one of their frames. I had everything already laying around the house for this simple project.
You will need:
- Heavy paper ( We used large heavy watercolor paper cut down to size because that’s what I had laying around)
- letter stamps
- ink
- Frame
The frame I wanted to fill was a 5×7 so the first thing we did was cut the paper to size.
I used typewriter like stamps and black ink to create the repeated “i love you”. The kids helped with some and I finished it. I wanted it to be kinda messy and imperfect and I think we did just that. The kids had fun helping and it was something simple and fun we could add to their gallery wall.
