Fall Tablescape

I really wanted to make a big statement at a minimal cost for this Tablescape. I had a vision of sunflowers, drippy candles and a autumn colored linens.

I Started with the Linen runner that I made myself. Linen Fabric is from JoAnns. I then placed my bottles/candles where I wanted them. To achieve the drippy candles look I lit the candles and used an extra lit candle to drip the wax over each candle in the bottle. I was able to get wax dripping down the bottle by this technique.

If you get wax anywhere don’t worry – you can use your Iron and a paper towel to get it out. Just place a paper towel over your dried wax and then iron it like you would a shirt. The wax will melt and stick to the paper towel.

All the florals are foraged. I cut down Sunflowers, Eucalyptus, Dahilas, Pompas Grass and a few Autumn Joy Sedum and spread them out between the bottles. I absolutely love this tablescape and I wish I was hosting a party after this. My youngest son thinks its also great. His new favorite thing is to pull a chair out, climb on the table and play with all thse dried florals haha.
