My DIY French door Hardware is on and it feels so good!! This hardware from @hrlbrass is heirloom quality and has really made these doors look custom (don’t tell anyone their bi folds) 😉
Hardware can truly change up a space and make it something special. We did modify these because they are actually intended for cabinets. we drilled a larger hole in the center of the brass backplate and grabbed a smaller screw so that the backplate was flush against the screw. And we could just pre drill and use 4 crews to secure the entire knob on the French doors. What do you think!? I’ve never been so anxious for garden season and warm days full of sunshine like I have been the last few weeks. I started planning my cut garden this year and am changing things up. I planted over 60 dahlia bulbs last year and I’m expecting more this year along with cut flowers. Do you have a flower garden?

DIY Patio transformation!! To ensure my paint would adhere I used a concrete bonder and then added my base layer of paint. Then I took a 24” tile from Lowe’s and traced out my Diamond pattern. It was so simple! I used painters tape to tape off my lines row by row and painted my diamond pattern a dark taupe. 1. Pick 1 statement ( mine was wallpaper)
2. Thrift and get creative with what you have. I thrifted this mirror and instead of replacing the old vanity I drilled some cottage style air vents in them and gave it a fresh coat of paint.
3. The power of Paint goes a long way!!

Have you ever wondering how to replace stair tread

Have you ever wondering how to replace stair treads? I was intimidated by it but turns out- it’s pretty simple! I tore off the old plywood stairs and purchased these Pine stair treads at Lowes for $15. They have two different stock sizes 3ft and 4ft. I purchased the 4 foot boards and cut them down to my stair size of 41”. The difference between these and just 1x10 is that these are thicker and have a rounded edge in the front for a finished look. I secured each board on with finishing screws and I can’t wait to touch up the paint and stain these.
