DIY Mudroom Cabinet Reveal! Whew.. it’s been a long time coming but I’m SO thankful this project is pretty much done. We are going to add some magnetic door closes in each larger door but this has been a game changer for storage. Backpacks, shoes, coats all now have a space to hang and we don’t need to go down to the basement to put them away ❤️ when we started this project I was worried it would feel tight in here since we lost the two rooms that connected and flowed together (now master bath and master closet/laundry) BUT it’s just not true. Our home flows so much better now even though we closed it off. Jordan built the doors in between full time work, baseball for a few kiddos and life in between. It took us several weeks but I’m so happy!
The hardware is from @hrlbrass and the cabinet color is @benjaminmoore storm cloud gray (def green not gray). What do you think of the before and after?

Three ways to use the $22 Amazon willow trellis! 1. Add it to a blank space of siding. We added this willow trellis three years ago an planted this fire honeysuckle to bring life and interest as well as pollinators to our yard. The hummingbirds LOVE this honeysuckle vine. 2. Add them for privacy in an otherwise open area. It maybe not look like it now but soon this willow trellis will be filled with a beautiful vine and create privacy. 3. Add it to a vinyl fence (I have a reel on how we did this without damaging the vinyl fence). We planted four clematis vines to fill these. Gardening is all about planning and working today for a future you will love. I can’t wait to watch the new vines we planted this year grow and take up the willow trellis that I’m slightly obsessed with. 3 tips to save when refreshing a bath. 1. Use existing vanity but update it. For this vanity I just painted it, replaced knobs and drilled some cottage vent holes in the doors with a spade bit. 2. Thrift or diy. I thrifted this mirror for $10 and used oven cleaner to bleach the wood and give it the vibe I was going for. 3. Spend a chunk of your budget on a big impactful statement. If you haven’t noticed I’m quite smitten with these willow trellis walls. They are so versatile and easy to install. I used two on our side porch to support some Jasmine vines and to provide more privacy. I used weather coated hooks and attached them from the ceiling and the also secured them at the porch floor. To ensure they would remain together I zip tied them. I LOVE it and can’t wait for it to be full of beautiful vines + flowers.
