How to make Sourdough Pancakes

For the past few years I have been making all things sourdough. We absolutely LOVE these sourdough pancakes – well actually anything sourdough we are all for but these pancakes are truly amazing, moist and so fluffy. When I am making these I always make a double batch and store them in the refrigerator for a quick breakfast. We heat them up in the toaster for a quick breakfast on a School day.

Sourdough Pancakes

Add Together:

1 cup Sourdough Starter

2 Tablespoons Sugar

1 1/2 Cup Milk

1 large egg

2 Tablespoons melted coconut oil (0r any oil)

Mix together until everything is combined


2 Teaspoons baking powder

1 Teaspoons baking soda

1 Teaspoon salt

2 Cups unbleached flour

Combine everything and let it sit for about 10-15 min before you start making the pancakes.

I store my extras in the fridge for a week but usually they are gone before that.
