Gifting homemade treats and hosting a cookie exchange is one thing I’m going to miss this year. I love making memories with my mini bakers in the Kitchen and they love gifting their goodies to neighbors and friends. We took a half hour today and made a new cookie recipe and I’m pretty sure it’s amazing since I had to hide them. Peanut butter, butterscotch, chocolate chip - Yumm ! Do you host a cookie exchange!? What’s your favorite cookie?

Happy Friday! I had so much planned for today but

Happy Friday! I had so much planned for today but virtual school took up pretty much our entire day. Honestly I had a bad attitude about it all for a good half hour. Teaching two elementary kids and having a baby running around + a high schooler to micro manage is ALOT. Non of us signed up for this (and if you did - bless you homeschool mama)!! I had to remind myself today that I have never and will never regret the time I have to spend pouring into my children. Even when it’s hard. Even when they cry and fight and pretend they don’t know how to do something so simple. Even the tenth time in the wee hours when the baby is awake and wants comfort. What I wouldn’t give for a full night of sleep! When things seem overwhelming I’ve been clinging to this verse - The Lord is my STRENGTH and shield, my heart trusts in him and HE HELPS ME. psalms 28:7

My boys had the great idea of a village (houses) on their shelf here and I went with it. I think when they get home they will be so excited ❤️ what do you think of the paper houses? I teamed up with my friend Robyn from @robyns_frenchnest to share a Christmas DIY in stories today. I showed you how to make these fun kids friendly gingerbread houses and my sweet friend Robyn made an a cute customizable advent calendar.
